<a href="http://mycaffeinatedcontent.com">Website content</a>

I think this really depends on the person. I personally love cruises for many reasons! I mean all of your food is included in the price, so you can eat whatever you want whenever you want. Also, I love the fact that everything is on board, shows, entertainment, bars, piano bars, casino, all kinds of things and it doesn't involve having to rent a car or drive to find what you need. Plus you get to visit ports and see different things. You really do not spend much time in your cabin so the size of the cabin really shouldn't bother you. Most people only sleep in their cabins.

If you do something on land you have to pay for hotel, food, rental car, gas, etc. Plus worry about finding your way around, but you can still have a good time if you don't mind spending extra money on everything. We personally for our honeymoon are doing both. Our cruise leaves from Port Canaveral, Fl so we are driving to Orlando and spending 6 days in Orlando- doing Sea World, Magic Kingdom, and Animal Kingdom, then we are doing a 7 night cruise. The cruise cost us $2200 for both people- balcony (we are leaving may 30th) and for the 6 days in Orlando with hotel, food, gas, etc we are probably going to end up spending about $1500, so not too much difference. Perhaps you would want to do a Sandals resort?

I'm sure whatever you decide it will be a blast!

Congrats and good luck!

I think it all depends on what type of honeymoon you are looking for. If it's strictly romance then I would say a land stay definitely as theres lots of pampering at the posher places. If you're looking to see many new islands and really just have a great time, then I would cruise. For our honeymoon we went to Puerto Rico for a few nights then took a southern caribbean cruise for 7 nights. It was FANTASTIC. We saw St. Thomas, Aruba, Barbados, and Dominica and explored each in depth. We had massages on board ship and danced the night away. It was a vacation of a lifetime and it got us hooked on cruising. As for the room, they are much smaller but don't get anything less than a balcony stateroom and you'll be fine. You can't beat waking up in the morning and walking to your balcony to look at the ocean or a new island.

Here are some pros and con's

Cruise Pros
New destinations
Food included
Entertainment included

Land Pros
If you go to an all inclusive
Food included
Alcohol Included

Cruise Cons
Seasickness (possibly? everyone is different)
Ports can be changed with no notice
Ship excursions can be pricy
If you drink alcohol can add up

Land Cons
If you do not like the location you're stuck
Excursions can be pricy
More expensive

Personally I like cruising better. I like being in a new place, I don't find the room size to be a problem. I am hardly ever in the room. I find the price to be what I want to pay for a vacation. The food is free, the entertainment is free, I can lay in the sun, explore new islands. Great vacation for me. That said everyone is different.

You can look at a shorter cruise (4 day) and then 4 days at a resort somewhere..

<a href="http://mycaffeinatedcontent.com">Create a video blog</a>

Depending on where you go will effect the end result. Both have their advantages & disadvantages. I have done both many times.
Bermuda-Elbow Beach- land all the way.
Alaska-cruise/tours- only way to go.
As for room size depends on what cabin you select.
Excursion are up to you. You do not have to take any if you wish not to.
Food on a cruise most restaurants except a few specialty ones are included in you cruise price.
I would suggest you go to your local AAA office(you do not have to a member) and get some brochures for places you both(a must) agree on & compare the total cost.
Either way you will have extra costs. Airfare, souvenirs, new clothes, film etc.......................................................................................
The deals are out there & will alittle Research you can both agree on a place and which is best for your needs.
Congrats & ENJOY.

you could take a cruise to the Virgin Islands, many of those are half ship, half land.
